inmediatos posteriores a la compra del producto esta garantía se
hace válida en la misma tienda en la que se adquirió el producto,
presentando la presente garantía y la nota de compra o factura
correspondiente. Después de ese tiempo deberá contactar a las oficinas
de Rayovac a las direcciones antes mencionadas, presentando la
presente garantía, la nota de compra o factura y el producto.
Esta garantía será nula en los siguientes casos:
1. Cuando el producto se hubiese utilizado en condiciones distintas a
las normales.
2. Cuando el producto no hubiese sido operado de acuerdo con el
instructivo de uso que se acompaña.
3. Cuando el producto hubiese sido alterado o reparado por personas no
autorizadas por RAYOVAC CENTRO AMERICA.
NOTA: En caso de extravío de la presente póliza de garantía, el
consumidor puede recurrir a la tienda o proveedor para que se le
expida otra póliza de garantía previa presentación a la nota de compra
o factura.

Changing the Attachment Heads (if applicable)
Some models have interchangeable attachments. You may want to use
the rotary head to trim nose hairs, the linear head for ear and eyebrow
hairs, and the linear for sideburns and necklines.

Using the Eyebrow Comb (if applicable)
Some models include an eyebrow attachment comb that helps you
achieve an even cut without completely removing the hair.
1.
To use the attachment comb, be sure the unit is in the “off” position.
2.
Slide the comb over the trimming blades until it locks into place, mak-
ing sure the teeth of the comb are facing the same direction as the
trimming blade.
To change heads:
1.
Turn the trimmer off.
2.
Detach cutting head by turning it counterclockwise to the unlocked
position and pulling it off.
3.
Once the previous head is removed, attach the other head by placing it
on top of the unit and turning it clockwise to the locked position.
Turning on your trimmer:
The on/off switch is integrated into the battery cap.
1.
Rotate the battery cap clockwise to turn on.
2.
To turn off, simply rotate the battery cap, counterclockwise, back to the
off position.
Cleaning Your Trimmer
Your nose and ear trimmer is designed to give you years of comfortable
use. To ensure that you get optimal performance from your trimmer, follow
these simple cleaning and lubrication tips:
After each use, brush or blow accumulated hair from the cutting unit. It
is recommended to rinse your trimmer after each use to avoid residue
build up.
Rinsing your trimmer
■
Your Remington® trimmer can be rinsed with
cool or warm water. While holding trimmer upside
down, flush water through washout port. For best
results, turn trimmer on while rinsing under water.
Shake excess water off trimmer and pat dry with
rag. Do not use hot water.
■
If the trimmer needs additional cleaning, the
cutting head can be removed by turning it 1/4˝ to the left and pulling
it off. Then blow out the accumulated hair or rinse it more thoroughly
under running water.
■
Afterward, shake excess water from the cutter head, making sure that
all parts are held together.
■
Replace the head in the same position as it was removed, turning it 1/4˝
to the right until it locks into place.
Lubricating the cutters
■
After rinsing the unit, apply a drop or two of mineral oil or baby oil to
the cutting teeth.
■
Don’t apply too much oil, or it may spray.
■
Finally, point the trimmer down and away from you, and turn it on. This
spreads the oil evenly and expels any excess.
Inserting the Battery

Nose and Ear trimmers run on one "AA" ALKALINE battery.
1.
To open the battery compartment, turn the base of the unit approxi-
mately 1/4˝ to the left and pull it off.
2.
Insert the battery into the unit, positive end first.
3.
Replace the base and turn it 1/4˝ to the right to lock it in place.
Battery cautions
■
Use of non-alkaline batteries will impair the unit’s operating
performance.
■
Battery should not be left in the unit if the unit is not in use for long
periods.
■
To prevent battery corrosion, the unit should be stored in a dry
environment.
■
Dead batteries should be removed immediately and disposed of
properly.
■
Do not use rechargeable batteries with this appliance. The lower
voltage in rechargeable batteries impairs the performance of the
cutting unit.
Using the trimmer in the shower
■
This appliance allows for use in or out of the shower.
■
This appliance can be stored in the shower using the hang loop. It is
recommended to dry off excess water and moisture after use.
■
The trimmer should not be submerged in water, bath or sink.
