CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Note: Ensure that the groomer is turned off and unplugged when
cleaning.
Note: Do not fully submerge in water. Do not use in the bath.
WASHABLE
Your groomer is washable, enabling use in the shower and easy cleaning.
To maintain the performance of the blades, oil before each use and after
rinsing. Turn the groomer on to distribute the oil evenly. Prior to trimming
hair, wipe off any excess oil. Be sure that the groomer is turned off when
applying the oil.
AFTER EACH USE
1
. Ensure the groomer is switched off and not in its charging stand.
2. Brush the accumulated hair from the blades.
3. Rinse the groomer under cool or warm water. Do not use hot water.
4. To clean the body of the unit, wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
EVERY SIX MONTHS
At regular intervals the blade set should be removed and cleaned.
1
. Ensure that the groomer is switched off.
2. Hold the groomer in one hand so that the blades are at the top, and the
front of the groomer is facing you.
3. Place your thumb of the opposite hand underneath the blades at the front
of the unit, hold the back of the blade set with your fore finger and middle
finger and firmly press upwards with your thumb. The blade set will detach
from the groomer.
4. Brush and rinse the accumulated hair from the hair pocket and blades.
5. Replace the blade set by placing it back into position, and push down gently
on the dual trimmers at the top and bottom of the head until the blade set
‘clicks’ into place.
Note:
Do not push down on the foil section of the groomer head.
STORAGE
When not in use, unplug the groomer and store it out of reach of children
in a safe dry place. Never wrap the cord around the groomer or charge
stand as this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle
the cord carefully for long life and avoid jerking, twisting or straining
especially at the plug connections.
