PORTA
-DAVIT 500 - Standard
1.
Insert the kingpin of the davit base assembly into
the socket.
2.
Ensure kingpin is fully inserted and the bearing
flange is in full contact with the socket flange.
N.B. Fits all REID Lifting socket types: flush
mount, top mount, side mount, bridge mount
and the
PORTA
-BASE. Demonstrated using a top
mount socket.
3.
Loosen the retaining strap and slowly lower the
lower jib tube until it is resting on the strap.
4.
Supporting the weight of the upper jib on the
shoulder, inset spigot into the lower jib tube.
