SAFETY NOTES
During Commissioning and Maintenance
- Pul the main power switch in its „0“ position, then
unplug the power cord from the wall outlet prior to
working on the central vacuum unit.
- Never pull on the power cord to remove the plug
from the outlet.
- The power supply to the employed outlet must be
adequately secured and the outlet must be groun-
ded. Please call on an electrician for these tasks.
- Only connect the central vacuum unit to a
220/230 V alternating voltage supply.
- Never pull on or carry the central vacuum unit by its
power cord. Do not pull the mains power cord over
sharp edges or allow it to come into contact with
hot surfaces or chemical liquids.
- Never attempt to make any modifications to the
central vacuum unit.
- Lock-out and tag-out the central vacuum unit to
prevent any accidental startup.
- All work on electrical systems or line sections may
only be carried out by specially trained and autho-
rized individuals.
- Never pull on or carry the central vacuum unit by its

hot surfaces or chemical liquids.
- Never attempt to make any modifications to the
central vacuum units.
During Operation
- Only ever employ the system for the tasks defined
in this Fitting Instruction.
- Only vacuum dry materials.
- Never attempt to vacuum any health hazardous or
acidic materials or those containing solvents.
- Acetone, acids and solvents can all attack the
central vacuum unit and the pipe system.
- Never vacuum water.
- Never attempt to vacuum kitchen fumes.
In addition to the specific instructions contained in
this Technical Information, please also comply with
all general laying, installation, accident prevention
and safety regulations during the installation of pipe
systems. Areas of application not contained in this
Technical Information (special applications) require
consultation with our application technology depart-
ment.

Observe all national regulations when using the
vacuum central unit, the remote control system and
the notes in these operating instructions.
- Always comply with the instructions set forth in the
accident prevention regulations, the VDE regulati-
ons, the liability code regulations and those in the
current construction code.
- Please carefully note and comply with all applicable
fire prevention codes, in particular:
- When passing through firewalls;
- Rooms with special/greater requirements for
preventative fire protection measures (observe
national
regulations).
