higher than necessary.
Down. Lower the patient.
Leg angle out – must be fully out before lift.

1.
The leg angle can be changed by the button on the remote control (see
pictogram).
2.
The lift can be raised or lowered by means of the button on the remote control
(arrow up or arrow down).
3.
Make contact with the patient, who should always feel safe and secure.
4.
The lift stops immediately the red emergency button is pushed.
The emergency button can be released by giving the button a quarter-turn, then
the lift is ready for use again.
5.
To reduce risk of injury to the operator, downward pressure of the lift will not
exceed the weight of the patient and the lift arm together.
6.
The lift has a built-in emergency lowering function in the control box. A hole over
the downward arrow gives access to a reset function to slowly lower the lift arm.
The lift also has a mechanical lowering function. By pulling the ring on the actuator
upwards, the lift arm is lowered by the patient's weight.
7.
Since the batteries need regular charging, it is recommended they be charged
every night. Be aware that the emergency stop must not be activated during
battery charging. Do not wait for the recharge indicator on the remote control light
up, this reduces the batteries’ lifetime.
