FM MODE
Press the
FM button (14)
to switch to "Radio" mode. Select the desired frequency
band with the
FM button (14)
or the
MW button (12)
. Tune the desired radio station
with the
TUNING CONTROL (21)
.
Antenna
For FM reception there is a
THROW ANTENNA (28)
on the back of the device.
Align the
THROW ANTENNA (28)
so that the best reception is achieved. For MW
reception, the signals are received via a built-in ferrite antenna. Align the device
until the best reception is achieved.
FM stereo and mono reception
Stereo reception is possible if the tuned FM station broadcasts in stereo.
The
FM STEREO LED (19)
lights up.
CD MODE
First steps
1.
Press the
CD / USB button (26)
to switch to
"CD"
mode.
2.
Press the
OPEN / CLOSE button (11)
to open the CD compartment.
3.
Insert a CD with the printed side facing up in the CD compartment and
press the
OPEN / CLOSE button (11)
again to close the CD
compartment.
4.
The CD is then read in. Playback starts from the first track.
5.
Press the
PLAY / PAUSE button (2)
to pause the playback and again to
continue the playback.
6.
To stop playback, press the
STOP button (32)
. The number of titles is
shown on the
LCD display (18)
. Press the
PLAY / PAUSE button (2)
to
continue playback.
Skip and search function
1.
If you press the
SKIP UP (3/42)
button during playback or pause, the
device jumps to the next track. The corresponding title number is shown
on the
LCD DISPLAY (18)
. The play / pause mode remains.
2.
If the
SKIP DOWN (4/41)
button is pressed during playback or pause, the
device jumps back to the beginning of the current track. The
