c) Trimming
In the course of flight operation, it is possible the quadrocopter will not hover in place but drift off in one direction
(e.g. forward). In this case, the model must be returned to the condition where the quadrocopter hovers in place by
trimming.
"Nod" trimming
If the model drifts to the front or rear, you need to counter this drift with the trimming buttons for "nod" at the transmit-
ter. For example, if the model drifts forward, push the rear trimming button (figure 12) repeatedly until the model stops
drifting on its own. You will hear an indicator sound each time. The indicator sound goes out when the end of the trim-
ming path (trimming) is reached. When trimming is in the middle position (i.e. neutral), you will hear a long indicator
sound. If the model is still drifting and the movement cannot be corrected by trimming, you need to re-calibrate the
quadrocopter. Also observe the notes in chapter 13.

"Roll" trimming
If the model drifts to the left or right, you need to counter this drift with the trimming buttons for "roll" at the transmitter.
For example, if the model drifts to the left, push the right trimming button (figure 13) repeatedly until the model stops
drifting on its own. You will hear an indicator sound each time. The indicator sound goes out when the end of the trim-
ming path (trimming) is reached. When trimming is in the middle position (i.e. neutral), you will hear a long indicator
sound. If the model is still drifting and the movement cannot be corrected by trimming, you need to re-calibrate the
quadrocopter. Also observe the notes in chapter 13.
