12. Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
Transmitter and quadrocopter
do not pair.
• Power on the quadrocopter after the transmitter shows “Bind to Plane”. Place
the transmitter close to the quadrocopter during binding make sure you do
not move the transmitter sticks or trim buttons during initial power-on.
Transmitter LED suddenly off.
• Replace the AA batteries in the transmitter.
Transmitter display is not
showing the setting interface
after holding down the elevator
control stick for 2 seconds.
• The throttle control stick needs to be in the full down position.
Propellers rotate slowly or not
working well.
• Battery voltage is too low.
• Pair the quadrocopter with the transmitter again.
• Land the quadrocopter with the throttle control stick in the full down position
for 3 seconds and then take off again.
• The propeller got stuck on the motor shaft. Loosen the propeller.
Quadrocopter will not perform
flips.
•
Press and hold down the throttle control stick for 1 second to enter into flip
mode. Do the flip when the transmitter “beeps”.
•
LiPo power is too low. Recharge the flight battery.
Quadrocopter is shaking and
making noise.
• Check that the motors, canopy, body and propellers are all properly
positioned.
Quadrocopter cannot take off.
• Make sure the propellers are installed correctly. The propellers are marked
with „A“ (clockwise) and „B“ (counterclockwise). Refer to chapter 11,
“Replacing damaged rotor blades” for the correct orientation.
• Make sure that each motor is installed correctly. There are two different
motors with different motor wire colors. Refer to Fig. 27 shown after this table
for the correct order.
The motors do not spin freely
after a crash.
• Press the shaft down from the top of the propeller and motor to remove any
objects, or replace the motor.
One or more motors stop
working.
• Spin the propellers to see if the motors are jammed. Make sure the propellers
can spin normally.
• Repair/resolder any broken motor connections or replace the motor.
Video is not being saved to the
SD card.
• The SD card cannot be read. Use a quality branded Micro SD card with
correct specifications according to technical data.
• Format SD card in the computer.
• Always power off the quadrocopter before inserting or removing the SD card.
• Always stop the video recording function and power off the battery before
removing the Micro SD card from the slot in the quadrocopter.
• The camera module is not working. Replace camera module.
Transmitter will not power on.
• Check the battery. If the transmitter battery power is low, you will need to
replace with new AA batteries .
