First flight
To prevent any injuries or damages caused by improper operation it is strongly advised that beginners learn to operate
the quadrocopter under the guidance of a professional. It is very important to choose the right flight environment.
Please observe the following conditions for a proper flight environment:
•
The flying area should be open and without tall buildings or other obstacles.
•
Do NOT fly in bad weather such as strong wind, heavy snow, rain or fog.
• Keep away from barriers, people, power cables, trees, and other obstructions.
•
Do NOT fly near radio towers or airports.
•
Do NOT fly in restricted areas and obey your country‘s laws and regulations.
The quadrocopter’s flight time may vary depending on a range of factors:
• The battery charge level.
•
The speed at which you fly your aircraft.
• The wind speed to which the aircraft is subjected.
•
Whether it is fitted with a camera or not.
As a general rule, with the original configuration of the aircraft and with the battery fully charged, you can expect a
continuous hovering flight time of 6 - 9 minutes, which may increase or decrease depending on the factors mentioned
above.
When the flight battery is low the red LEDs at the rear blink quickly simultaneously. Return the quadrocopter
immediately and recharge the flight battery after a 5 to 10 minute cooling-off period.
Before every flight please proceed with a safety check according to the following check-list:
• Batteries in quadrocopter and transmitter are full.
• Propellers are properly installed.
• Micro SD card inserted if you need recording.
• The motors are properly working after binding.
• The camera is clear and clean.
The quadrocopter is a powerful machine. You need to move the left throttle control stick slowly to ensure
that it does not climb rapidly and cause a collision.
Low-voltage protection: the quadrocopter is equipped with a system whereby the control system will reduce
the power supply to the rotors, when the quadrocopter battery level is low. If the low-voltage protection is
activated the quadrocopter will descend. In this case, the battery will have to be recharged to resume flying.
The control system of the quadrocopter will not work properly at the South or North Pole.
