Data Hold
1. While taking a measurement, press the
HOLD
button to freeze the
current reading on the LCD display.
2. While in this mode an "H" symbol will appear.
3. Press the
HOLD
button again to resume normal operation.
Auto Power Off
To preserve battery life, the meter is programmed to turn itself off after 30
minutes of inactivity. Press any button to delay the auto power off function
and resume normal operation.
Backlight
To turn the backlight on or off, press and hold the
BACKLIGHT
button for
2 seconds.
Battery Replacement
When the low battery icon
appears on the LCD, the batteries
must be replaced.
1. Use a small Phillips head screwdriver
to remove the battery cover located
on the back of the meter.
2. Replace the 2 x "AAA" batteries.
3. Secure the battery cover back and
tighten the screw.
