Unplug after use, the indicator should go off. Press button to release
steam, open the safety valve to fill water for cooling down, then
operate again when ready.
If you want to refill the water, pull out the power plug and the
indicator light will go off. Let the switch from the remaining
water vaporize from the unit. CAUTION! The cover of the steam
cleaner has a special safety valve feature. When the steam cleaner is
in operation and the water is heated in the tank, the lid is then locked
mechanically by the resulting vapor pressure so can no longer open
the black cap of the lid “rotate through” and no longer engages the
screw. This is already happening at low pressure and prevents it from
accidentally opening the cover so hot water and steam may spray out
and scald the operator.
If you want to add water, first turn off the power switch and then
unplug the nets. Let the remaining steam flow out through the
switch. Now you may need to wait a few minutes and the lid can be
unscrewed counter clockwise from the unpressurized water tank. It
can still have small amounts of steam so caution is urged. Do not try
to open lid by force.
