2.4 Function Switches
Camera/Video Switch GPRS Switch (not available)
Power Switch IR LEDs Group Switch
Power Switch
A. To operate camera:
1) Move switch to ON position to enable camera. The red indicator light on front of
camera will flash 5 times. The camera is now in
Operating Mode , ready to take
photos and/or videos.
B. For Status Screen:
1) Move switch to ON; then press “OK” button to display Status Screen.
2) Status Screen will show battery charge condition, Pic/Video mode, image size,
multi-shot setting, and SC Card status (amount used / total capacity).
Note: While viewing Status Screen, after 60 seconds of inactivity the camera
will automatically enter Operating Mode.
C. To change settings:
1) Move switch to ON. P ress “OK” once to turn on Status Screen. Then press “M”
menu button to enter Menu Mode (see Section 4.3 for Menu instructions).
2) To exit Menu Mode, press “Menu” button (may require multiple “Menu” button
presses depending upon menu location) until Status Screen is shown.
3) Switch OFF to turn camera off.
Video/Photo Switch
Move switch up to camera icon for still images or for PIC+Video mode (see Section
4.3 for selection instructions).
Move switch down to video icon for Video Recording mode.
IR LEDs Group Switch Move switch up to engage the upper 25 IR LEDs or down to engage all 56 IR LEDs.
