flat non-flammable surface and away from any flammable
materials when re-charging the battery pack.

Additional safety warnings for hedge trimmers
• Keep all parts of the body away from the cutting blade. Do not
remove cut material of hold material to be cut when the blades are
moving. Make sure the switch is off when clearing jammed
material.
A moment of inattention while operating the hedge trimmer
may result in serious personal injury.
• Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the cutting blade
stopped. Proper handling of the hedge trimmer will reduce possible
injury from the cutting blades.
• Do not grasp the blade of the hedge trimmer.
• Hold the power tool with a firm grip with both hands (if possible) and
keep a good balance. The power tool is best guided with both hands.
• Blade is still moving for a few seconds after switching off the
hedge trimmer. Always wait until the blade has come to a complete
stop before placing it down.
• Inspect the hedge or bushes for foreign objects like wire fences.
Remove them prior to operation.
• Keep hands and feet away from the trimming area.
• Ensure there are no people or animals within 5 meters of the
trimming area.
• If you are using a means of support to raise yourself off the ground,
ensure that it is stable and cannot topple over- do not overreach at
any time.
• The hedge trimmer is intended for outdoor use only. Do not use indoors.
• Stop using the power tool immediately if it starts to vibrate
abnormally, smoke emits or you hear strange noises.
• Regularly check the wear of the blades. If the blades don't cut
efficiently, sharpen the blades.
• Wear gloves while handling the blades.
• Do not use the device to cut wet grass and trim wet hedges.
