DOUBLE INSULATION
Wear safety glasses.
This electric tool is double insulated and is manufactured
according to EU-Norms 73/23EWG, 89/336 EWG and
98/37/EWG.
It has an appealing design and can be transported easily
because of its small measurements. It provides safe and
reliable operation and requires a voltage of 230-240V and a
frequency of 50Hz. The power input is 900W , the no load
revolutions per minute (rpm) is 11000. Metal as well as
non-metal materials can be handled with it.
Environmental Protection
Waste electrical products should not be disposed
of with house hold waste, Please recycle where
facilities exist. Check with your local Authority or
retailer for recycling advice.
Power supply
Power supply
The tool should be connected only to power supply of the
same voltage as indicated on the nameplate, and can only
be operated on single-phase AC supply. They are double-
insulated and can, therefore, also be used from sockets
without earth wire.
Attention!
To protect oneself against electric shock, risk of injury
and fire, basic safety measures have to be observed
when using electric tools! Before operating this electric
tool, read all operating and safety instructions.

Changing the diamond cutting wheel
CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is switched off
and unplugged before adjusting or changing the diamond
cutting wheel on the tool.
1. Undo the 4 screws from the top of the head
using allen key and remove exhuast cover to
expose blade. (Fig A)
2. Press the shaft lock firmly (2) so that the spindle cannot
revolve, then use the lock nut wrench (1) to securely
loosen locking nut in anti-clockwise direction. (Fig B)
3. Remove locking nut and diamond cutting wheel, and
replace.
4. When cutting wheel is replaced, repeat above steps in
reverse to re-assemble.
Maintenance and Repair
1. This electric tool is operating with a very high r.p.m.
Therefore, it is necessary to clean the spindle bearing
regularly and to replenish or change the bearing grease.
2. The electric tool has to be regularly checked for correct
operation and, if applicable, repaired. The inspection
comprehends flex, wires and electric connections
inside the tool, plug, switch, insulation, carbon brushes,
grinding disc, spindle bearing, moving parts, etc.
3. In order to avoid accidents, the electric tool has to
be disconnected from the power supply before any
maintenance or repair takes place.
4. If the electric tool has been operated in a damp
environment or not been used for a long time the
insulation resistance between enclosure and coil has
to be measured before using the tool again. Use an
instrument in the M
Ω
range at a direct voltage of ca.
500V for this purpose. The coil has to be dried if the
insulation resistance is less than 7 M
Ω
. If the electric
tool is damaged, it has to be repaired by qualified
personnel. Unsuitable tools and improper repairs can
cause injuries. The electric tool might be damaged. In
this case the manufacturer bears no responsibility for
injuries or damage and the warranty will Lapse.
