13.4 Functions 

13.4.1 Play 

Receive live streaming in the unicast mode:   

Enable “Unicast” on the “Live” page of the Media Master and then click “Play” button. 

The system will call the RecPlayer to play the file.   

Receive live streaming in the multicast mode:   

Method 1: Enable “Multicast” on the “Live” page of the Media Master and then click 

“Play” button. The system will call the RecPlayer to play the file.   

Method 2: Enable “Multicast” on the “Live” page of the Media Master and then return 

to the RecPlayer to click “Operation”. The following menu items will appear: Receive 
media, Play file, Login server, Vod file, Close and Exit.

Once “Receive media” is selected, a dialog box as below will pop up with the 

multicast address and port of corresponding Media Master. You can change the multicast 
address and port according to your actual demand.

Check whether the multicast address and port correspond with the server and click 

“OK”. When the server is connected successfully, the status is as shown in the following
