7. BACK-UP BATTERY ON/OFF SWITCH
The unit has a back-up battery so that the preset memory
are kept stored even after power off.
This back up battery is deactivated when delivery ex fac-
tory to prevent a slow discharge until the unit will be in-
stalled. To activate the back up battery, place the switch
from OFF position to ON position.
8. ANTENNA TERMINALS
FM:
You can connect a 75ohm coaxial cable antenna to
this terminal.
AM:
You can connect the AM loop antenna to this termi-
nal.
GND:
Used as a grounding terminal for AM reception to
protect the unit in a thunder storm and to reduce back-
ground noise.

7. BACK-UP-BATTERIE Schalter
Das Gerät besitzt eine Back-up Batterie, damit der Sen-
derspeicher erhalten bleibt, wenn das Gerät ausgeschal-
tet wird. Diese Back-up Batterie ist bei der Auslieferung
deaktiviert um einer langsamen Entladung vorzubeu-
gen. Um diese Batterie zu aktivieren, legen Sie bitte den
Schalter um.
8. ANTENNEN-ANSCHLUSS
FM:
Sie können hier ein 75 Ohm Koaxial-Kabel anschlie-
ßen.
AM:
Sie können hier eine AM-Ringantenne anschließen.
GND:
Wird als Erdung für den AM-Empfang verwendet
um das Gerät im Falle eines Unwetters zu sichern und
um eventuell auftretende Störgeräusche zu vermeiden.
