SETTING MODES
The loudspeaker preset can be chosen in three different setting modes:
-
“EASY FOCUS”
, simple, easy and suitable for all systems, advisable for users and
installers that are not so expert (only two values are necessary: the loudspeaker
installation height and the max. distance to be covered).
-
“EASY BEAM”
, intermediate level that allows users / installers to specify the listening
area to be covered (by selecting a preset).
-
“FREE BEAM”
, advanced level (for expert users / installers) that allows the (virtual)
setting of both loudspeaker tilt and beam.

EASY FOCUS
This setting mode permits to cover the listening area uniformly from the loudspeaker to
its focus, minimising the sound pressure level beyond that point and reducing the reflec-
tions outside the listening area (that is good for reverberant halls).
Only two values are necessary: the loudspeaker installation height
H
(considering the
loudspeaker bottom) and the maximum distance to be covered
F
.
H:
loudspeaker bottom installation height
(1.5 – 2.0 – 2.5 – 3.0 m)
F:
maximum distance to be covered
(10 – 15 – 20 – 30 m)
ha:
considered listening area height (1.2 m)
