INSTALLATION
WARNING:
Make sure that the speaker is installed in a stable and secure way
in order to avoid any conditions that may be is for persons or structures.
Check to make sure that the support surface (e.g. wall, etc.) has the necessary
mechanical characteristics to support the weight of the speaker without the
danger of it falling.
Before suspending the speaker, carefully check all the components to be
used to make sure that there is no damage, deformation, corrosion and/or
missing or damaged parts that could reduce the safety of the installation.
To obtain the best performance, speaker positioning requires a thorough
preliminary study, as each environment has its own particular acoustic
characte ristics. In any case, good results can generally be achieved by
respecting the following indications:
• The distance between the base of the sound column and the floor should
be approximately 1.5 metres for a seated audience and approximately
1.7 metres for a standing audience.
• When it is necessary to install the sound column at a certain height from
the floor, tilt it downward to better “surround” the audience.
• Keep in mind that the higher the sound column, the more the sound beam
is flattened (less vertical dispersion).
The speaker can be used both in closed spaces and outdoors. The hinge
support provided with the speaker can be used for installing it on the wall
(Fig. 1).
1.
Attach the hinge support to the preselected structure (e.g. wall) as shown
in Figure 1.
WARNING:
Always use attachment elements that are suitable to the type
of watt that must hold the support/speaker (e.g. screw anchors for bricks,
screw anchors for concrete, etc.).
2. Using the two screws with washer
A
(Fig. 1) provi ded, attach the speaker
to the hinge support: screw the two screws A into the two nuts located
inside the groove on the back of the speaker. The nuts must run in the
groove so that the speaker can be positioned as desired. When this has
been accomplished, tighten screws
A
definitively.
