1. INTENDED USE
The company's target is to give to rentals and customers, the necessary tools to set up systems
through an integrated solution which comprises and manages all kind of signals.
The CR 16 ND Control Rack provides convenient and flexible routing of audio, network and Rd-Net
signals in a simple, safe and fast way. The Cr- 16 ND Control Rack contains 1 Rd-Net Control 8 and
one DX 1616 processor that combined with rear panel patch allows the routing operations.
RDNET CONTROL 8 unit routes all remote control and monitor data between the PC and audio
devices using RDNET.
RDNET is a proprietary protocol of a network that allows to connect up to 256 speakers every RDNet
CONTROL 8 unit. RdNet software is the end user interface for remote control and monitor RCF
professional speakers in real time.
The RDNET software allows to monitor every device, checking functionality as temperatures, audio
signal RMS values, cooling fans, and all parameters like Eq, Delay, Gain, etc..

DX 1616 is a 40 Bit, Floating Point DSP processor with High Performance 24 Bit Converter with 16
analog inputs, 16 analog outputs, AES in & out. DX 1616 provide Dante enabled network audio.
Allows loop-through connection (Dante protocol) of multiple CR- 16 ND units to manage big
systems.
DX 1616 bridges the gap between fixed architecture and open architecture drag & drop type
processors. We call DX 1616 a Hybrid architecture DSP.
