2.3. PAGING
Lift the paging button safety cover (3) up and push the button (3):
: announcement with chime
: announcement without chime
As soon as the system is ready for paging, the red light of the paging button (3) will turn on and the
display will show:
Remove the microphone from its holder, then push and hold its ‘Push To Talk’ button to talk.
In case of simultaneous calls from 2 or more paging microphones, only 1 is enabled, while the busy
state is indicated on the other unit(s).
Lift the paging button safety cover (3) up and push the button (3) again (release) to stop paging: the
system and all paging microphones turn to the idle state.
3. ALARM / FUNCTION BUTTONS
Each of the 3 alarm buttons (4a, 4b, 4c) can be set to 1 of the following functions in the configuration
software:
Selective paging.
A pre-recorded message play (once only or continuous) to a zone.
Open the AUX IN (used by an external player), routed to a zone with priority.
Control output activation (hold or impulse).
3.1. SELECTIVE PAGING
Push the assigned button (4a, 4b, 4c) to start the announcement to the predefined zones.
3.2. PRE-RECORDED MESSAGE PLAY
Zones where messages are played are set in the software configuration.
Push an alarm / function key (4a, 4b, 4c) to which a message has been assigned.
Messages can be either single (played once only) or continuous:
Singles messages will be played completely, even if the button has been released in the
meantime.
Continuous messages will be played until the button is released.
