USE
Before using the paging microphone, verify if ‘Connection: ON’ and ‘Console
ready’ are displayed.
Choose to enable / disable the chime by pushing the CHIME button

ZONE SELECTIVE OR GENERAL CALLS

Select a zone on the numeric keyboard

and push ENTER

to add
it to the displayed list; select other zones (if necessary) in the same way.
The zone numbering starts from ‘0’, the first zone is ‘00’, the second ‘01’,
and so on.
The CLEAR button

allows to cancel the selection of a zone not yet added
to the list.
To delete a zone already added to the list, select it again either by
using the numeric keyboard

and pressing ENTER

or through the
encoder

, by turning it to scroll the display pointer (on the right) and
then pressing it to delete the indicated zone.
Push the GEN CALL button

(instead) to make a general call (the
corresponding LED

lights up).
If one or more additional BE 9808 keyboards are present, it is also possible
to select zones (or groups) combined with their buttons.

If the zone selection is accepted, wait (a few seconds) during the chime
playing (if previously enabled) and then (as soon as the LED BUSY

If the LED BUSY

remains lit, it is not possible to call now, but you should wait
until the selected zone (or groups) are free.

After the end of the announcement, release the PTT button

The displayed zone list is automatically deleted.
ALARM BUTTON
The ALARM button

can be enabled (by editing the software) and used only
on paging microphones for emergency purposes.
If pushed, the correspondent red LED

will light up and, after a few seconds,
the selected evacuation / alert message (chosen in the PC software) will start
playing.

is
a
precaution
that
allows
you
to
immediately
remedy
any
accidental
activation
,
by
pressing
the
alarm
button
again
.
Push the ALARM button again to stop the evacuation / alert message playback.
