General controls

Turning the player on and off

To turn the player on, press and hold  . Press and 
hold   again to turn the player off. 

Locking the player controls

If you don’t want the player controls to be activated 
accidentally, slide the 

HOLD

 switch towards the   

icon. When the controls are locked, the lock icon   
appears on the display.

Resetting the player

If the player stops operating properly, you can reset 
it by removing and re-installing the battery.

Using the Main menu

The Main menu appears when you press 

M 

once.

 

It lets you:
•  Play back music
•  Listen to the radio
•  Record and play back voice recordings
•  Change the player’s settings

To navigate in the Main menu:

• Press  or   to select an option in the Main 

menu and then press 

M

.
