Recording a Program
Types of Recordings
Your TV/VCR provides different types of recording. These types are explained in the
following sections:

Operating Instructions
To Make a Recording
1.
Insert a tape with safety tab in place.
2.
Press
SPEED
to select a recording speed.
The tape speed indicator appears.
3.
Select the channel to be recorded. If recording from
the
AUDIO/VIDEO IN
jacks, press
00
on the remote or
INPUT
on the TV/VCR to select the line input
(VIDEO).
The channel number or
VIDEO
appears.
4.
Press
REC
to begin recording.
The indicator in the
REC
button on the front of the
TV/VCR turns on during recording and
RECORD
appears on the screen.

. Press
STOP/EJECT
on the TV/VCR or
STOP
on the
remote to stop recording.
Note: If a tape with the safety tab removed is loaded into the
TV/VCR and the
REC
(record) button is pressed, the tape will
automatically eject from the TV/VCR. Tapes with the safety
tab removed cannot be recorded on. (See below illustration
for safety tab location.)
