7. Horizontal Stabilizer/Elevator Assembly
A. Add brace to elevator. I used a pine stick
that was scrap from ripping wood on the
table saw. Just under 1/8” sq. X 6” long
B. Use your favorite method to hinge
elevator to the horizontal stabilizer.
C. Place a strip of 2” packing tape folded
over the leading edge, being careful not to
have any tape where the stab will glue to
the fuselage.
D. Packing tape adds spanwise strength.
