15. Motor Pylon Installation
A. Approximate holes in wing
assembly for dowel rods in
motor pylon assembly.
B. Glue motor pylon in place.
C. Use a clamp to hold them
together. The wing tends to
flatten out. Clamping will force
it to the airfoil contour.
D. Foam and wood scraps
between clamp and parts will
prevent denting the foam.
E. Add three centerline ribs. This
distributes thrust loads over the
entire chord of the wing.
