8. When all groups have been defined and all Remote Keypads
allocated, simultaneously press the middle two
keys of the
bottom row for 1 second, to return to group setup mode, then
simultaneously press the middle two
keys for a further 2
seconds to return to normal operation.
4.3 Grouping ST80 MaxiView instruments
To define a group of ST80 MaxiView instruments:
1. At any Remote Keypad, press and hold the upper and
keys for 4 seconds. All the ST80 MaxiView instruments enter
group setup mode. On one of the instruments, the display will
change to reverse video and the cursor will flash.
2. Select the first instrument in the group using the and keys.
3. Referring to the following illustration, use the appropriate keys to
allocate a group letter and sequence number to the selected
instrument. When the instrument has been properly identified, it
should display its group letter and sequence number, e.g.
J2
.
Select the required MaxiView instrument
Select either:
group setup or
sequence number setup
(toggle action)
Press to set the identity you want, either:
J to Q for group identity, or
1 to 8 for instrument sequence number

Note: In group setup mode, all ST80 MaxiView instruments are
selectable.
4. Press the key to select another instrument and repeat the
procedure in step 3.
5. Repeat the procedure in steps 3 and 4 until all instruments in the
group have been identified.
Note: If you have more than eight ST80 MaxiView instruments, a
second group, operated by another remote keypad, must be created.
The identification code for additional keypads and instruments would,
for example, be
K1
,
K2
etc.
