5.2 Using the setup wizard
First Install Setup Wizard
The setup wizard will take you through: language, and vessel type
selection, you will then see the welcome screen.
1. Highlight the required language using the UP and DOWN buttons
and then press SELECT .
2. Highlight the required vessel type using the UP and DOWN
buttons and then press SELECT .
The welcome screen shall now be displayed and your choices
have been saved.
3. Press the OK button to complete the setup.
You will now be taken to page 1 of the pre-defined favorites
pages which were determined by the vessel type selection.
Note: Language and vessel type selection may be skipped if the
settings are already available on the system.
5.3 Transducer calibration
Setting up transducers
The Transducer setup menu is used to calibrate the transducers and
sensors which are the source of much of the instrument data.
1. From the main menu select Set up and press the SELECT
button.
2. Select Transducer setup and press the CONTINUE button.
The i70 will search for transducers connected to the system and
display the results of the search as a list.
3. Highlight the transducer you wish to setup.
4. Press the SELECT button to proceed and setup the parameters
for that transducer.
