When using a 9-pin D-Sub connector it is a DCE port 1:1 cable.
For further information regarding the usage of the RS-232 interface in combination with your
application software please contact RAYLASE.
Specifications
2.4.10 Dig. I/O Interface
An additional card can be connected at the male connector (see Fig.1 pos.10). The additional
card PCIDIOEX provides a set of optically isolated inputs and outputs. It is dedicated to a sig-
nal voltage of 24V.
With this additional card, up to 32 I/O ports can be read and written. This enables multiple con-
trol options of external components while marking from SP-ICE 2 control card.

Via a 2-pin shorting plug the SP-ICE 2 control card can be resetted. After a reset, the
jumper has to be removed.
