Main components
1. Carrying handle
2. Cover plate
3. Socket for handle
4. Handle
5. Venting valve
6. Casters
7. Load wheel
8. Jack saddle
9. Lifting arm
Preparation for use
• Insert the handle (4) into the socket (3)
on the lifting mechanism and swivel
into place.
• The venting valve (5) is closed at the
factory so that the hydraulic oil does not
run out during transport.
• Open the valve around 1 mm by turning
it anticlockwise.
• Pump the handle 6 times to distribute
the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic jack
before using it for the rst time.
Use
• Put the car in gear (1st gear or Park)
and put the hand brake on. If necessary,
place wheel chocks by the wheels on
the side of the car to be lifted. Place the
hydraulic jack under the car so that the
jack saddle is under the lifting point.
Check that the jack and car are stable.
• Turn the venting valve clockwise
until the valve is fully closed (do not
overtighten).
• Insert the handle into the socket and
pump up and down using the handle.
The jack saddle will rise, raising the car
from the ground.
• Position a suitable axle stand beneath
the car before any form of work is
undertaken beneath it!
• Lower the hydraulic jack by slowly
turning the venting valve anticlockwise.
Pull the jack away while working on the
car.
• When the car is to be lowered again,
place the hydraulic jack under the lifting
point as before.
• Start by raising the car enough to
remove the axle stands.
