Indication Root Cause Remedy
There is no
indication on
the panel No power to the

If there is any
false alarm

detector is faulty
or check EOL

Hooter fault
indication
There is no proper
connection in the
hooter
Or loop Fault.
Connection Details for Non
Polarized Hooter
Diode

If there is no hooter
connected to the
output, check if EOL
resistor connected
there or not.
Check loop wiring for
short / open using a
meter.
If hooter is non-
polarized, then ensure
each hooter’s +ve
loop is connected to
1N 4007 diode’s
cathode and the
hooter –ve loop
connected to the
anode of 1N 4007.
