WARNING! When the iron is used for the first time, it may emit a certain smell and some smoke. This is
normal.
If the smoke and smell are still emitted despite a long time of heating, the appliance should be
disconnected from the power source and you should contact the service centre.
USE
Before each actuation of the appliance check its status in scope of mechanical damage and check whether the
power cord is not damaged.
Thermostat control lamp
The thermostat light indicates that the iron is being heated to the desired ironing temperature.
The light will go off once the set temperature is reached.
Temperature setting
Insert the plug into the socket and leave the iron in a vertical position.
Turn the temperature control knob to set the desired temperature.
Once the required temperature is reached, the light goes off. The lamp goes on and off from time
to time, indicating that the selected temperature is maintained.
Dry ironing
Connect the iron to a suitable power source.
Make sure that the steam knob is in the ‘0’ position.
Select the right temperature.
Once the required temperature is reached, the control lamp will go off. The iron is ready for use.
It is recommended to start ironing from fabrics that require low temperature, and then turn to materials that
require a higher temperature. Before ironing, it is recommended to wait until the control lamp goes on again
and goes off.
Spray
Always disconnect the appliance from the power source before filling the water reservoir.
The feature may be used at any time and does not impact the ironing temperature.
Fill the iron with water.
Aim the nozzle towards the clothing.
Press the spray button.
WARNING!
Do not fill the reservoir above the maximum water level.
Always remove the remaining water from the reservoir after each use.
Steam ironing
The feature may be used only at a higher ironing temperature.
• • - moderate steam level
• • • - heavy steam level
or
MAX - for the maximum steam level
Fill the iron with water.
Place the iron in a vertical position.
Connect the iron to a suitable power source.
Turn the temperature dial to ‘••,’ ‘•••,’ or MAX.
The control lamp will go off when the required temperature is reached. The iron is ready for use.
Turn the steam level controller to the required position; the steam will start to come out of the holes
in the hot shoe.
