Step2. Verify the DV driver installation

To verify the DV driver installation, follow steps through.

1.Click

My Computer

with the right button of the mouse.

2.Select

Properties

3.Click the

Device Manager

tab.

4.If there is a

Sony DVCR

string without any yellow “!” marks or red “X” marks

under the

[Sound,video and game controllers]

as shown below, the DV driver is installed

correctly.

NOTE

Even if you connect a DVCAM other than ones made by Sony, you will see a Sony

DVCR string there.
