There is a work light LED placed in the front of the
tool.
To activate the work light press the trigger only and
the work light will turn on for 15 seconds. It will stay
on as long the trigger is pressed.
ADDITIONAL OPERATION INFORMATION
NOTE: For better performance press the tool
against the work piece.
NOTE: In case of a jammed nail, read the mainte-
nance section.
DO NOT re-fi re the tool in order to
clear the jam as this may damage the tool.
NOTE: During operation, the tool may feel warm.
This is normal but if the tool starts to feel hot use
shall be discontinued until it cools down.
NOTE: Use the tool only with the specifi cally
designated battery pack.
MAINTENANCE
STANDARD MAINTENANCE
1. Inspect all screws and tighten if necessary.
2. Keep all vents free from dust and dirt.
3. Remove the battery pack before cleaning the tool.
4. Clean the tool with a dry or damp cloth. NEVER
use any solvent.
5. Keep the magazine channel clean.
6. DO NOT oil or grease any parts
7. Be sure the nailer is not damaged. Replace or
repair prior to use.
CLEARING A JAMMED NAIL
1. Remove the battery from the tool. (Figure 6)
2. Press the magazine latch and pull out the
magazine cover.
3. Remove the nails from the magazine.
4. Open the jam-release mechanism and remove
the jammed nail/s. If necessary use a tool.
5. Close the jam-release mechanism securely, insert
nails and close the magazine cover until it engag-
es with the magazine latch.
6. Reconnect the battery to the tool.
WARNING!!
DO NOT alter parts on this nailer or attach
special fi xtures. This can lead to personal
injury.
If the tool/charger should fail despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an after-sales service centre
for Rapid tools.
