4.2 Aircraft Hangars

In aircraft storage and servicing areas, heaters
shall be installed at least 10' (3 m) above the
u
pper s

rface of

ings or of engine enclos

of the highest aircraft

hich may be ho

sed in
the hangar. The meas
u
rement shall be made
from the

ing or engine enclos
u
re (
w
hichever is
higher from the floor) to the bottom of the heater.

servicing areas, heaters shall be installed not
less than 8' (2.4 m) above the floor.
