Move the hydraulic lever
toward the base and
hold it while the wedge
moves through the log.

Release the lever when
the log splits into 2
pieces or the wedge
reaches the base and
the wedge will stop.

h.

Move the lever in the
fully up retracting direc-
tion into detent and it will
retract fully. When fully
retracted, the pressure
will exceed 1200 psi, the
control lever will pop out
of detent and the wedge
will stop moving.
