YIG-Preselector
Enables or disables the YIG-preselector.
This setting requires an additional option on the R&S
FSWP.
An internal YIG-preselector at the input of the R&S
FSWP ensures that image frequen-
cies are rejected. However, image rejection is only possible for a restricted bandwidth.
To use the maximum bandwidth for signal analysis you can disable the YIG-preselector
at the input of the R&S
FSWP, which can lead to image-frequency display.
Note:
Note that the YIG-preselector is active only on frequencies greater than 8
GHz.
Therefore, switching the YIG-preselector on or off has no effect if the frequency is
below that value.
Note:
For the following measurements, the YIG-"Preselector" is off by default (if available).

Remote command:
Input Connector
Determines which connector the input data for the measurement is taken from.
"RF"
(Default:) The "RF Input" connector
"RF Probe"
The "RF Input" connector with an adapter for a modular probe
This setting is only available if a probe is connected to the "RF Input"
connector.

Amplitude
Access
: [AMPT]
Amplitude settings are identical to the Signal and Spectrum Analyzer mode.
For background information on amplitude settings see the R&S
FSWP User Manual.

Amplitude settings
Access
: "Overview" > "Input/Frontend" > "Amplitude"
Amplitude settings determine how the R&S
FSWP must process or display the expec-
ted input power levels.
Configuring amplitude settings allows you to:
