3.1.8 Carrier Frequency Stability and Modulation Accuracy (EDR) mea-
surement
The measurement of the Carrier Frequency Stability and Modulation Accuracy ( Carr
Freq Stability softkey) is an enhanced data rate measurement (EDR). It verifies that the
modulation accuracy and the frequency stability are within the required limits. Accord-
ing to the RF Test Specification, the software records 200 blocks, each with a length of
50
μ
s for the evaluation. The number of blocks to be recorded can be changed using
the Block Count (Carr Freq Stability) softkey.
