Channel Bits (Decimal)
Entry of the 8-bit decimal value (0 ... 255) for the selected channel. The channel bits
control eight output signals at the User Port connector. The signals are 3.3 V TTL sig-
nals which can be used to differentiate between up to 256 independent analyzer
states. For an application example, refer to the description of the remote-control com-
mand.
The decimal values have the following effect:

0 means that no output signals are enabled at any of the pins 8, 9, 10, 11 and 16,
17, 18, 19.
●
1 enables the output signal at pin 8. The signal is switched on while a measure-
ment sweep is running in the selected channel. All other signals are inactive.
●
2 enables the output signal at pin 9.
●
3 enables the output signals at pins 8 and 9.

255 enables the output signals at all pins. See also
Remote command:
Pin 16 - 19
Selects the control mechanism for the signals at pins 16 to 19 of the User Port connec-
tor.

"Channel Bits":
Signals are controlled by channel bits 4 to 7. No drive port indica-
tion at the User Port connector.
●
"Drive Ports":
Signals indicate the active drive ports. The number of active chan-
nel bits is reduced to 4 (pins 8 to 11).
