In StreetFinder, select the map that you downloaded.

Clip your Palm handheld to the GPS receiver. To do so, hold
the base of the handheld to the front of the GPS receiver at
slight angle and connect the two ports. Push the handheld back
into place in the receiver, pressing down lightly to snap it into
place.

Open the StreetFinder
Navigate
menu and tap the
GPS
selection. The GPS warning screen will appear, and you will
see a checkbox in front of an option labeled.
Disable Auto
Power Off
. Leave this option checked so that your Palm will
not shut off while you are using GPS.

Tap the
Start GPS
button. You will then see the message
“Acquiring Signal” on your map screen.
Your GPS receiver will normally acquire a signal in less than
5 minutes. However, satellite acquisition may take up to 20
minutes the first time you use the receiver or if you have
traveled several hundred miles from the location you last used
the receiver.

To stop GPS, select
GPS
from the
Navigate
menu again and
tap the
Stop GPS
button.
Note:
The GPS receiver must have an unobstructed view of the sky. GPS signals do not pass
through solid objects such as roofs, tall buildings, and dense tree cover.
