Fasten the red wire to the positive (+) terminal of the SSR (normally terminal no. 3).
Fasten the white wire to the negative terminal (-), which is normally terminal no. 4.
Please confirm the location of the + and – terminals by looking at the label on the actual
SSR in your kit (from time to time, kits will contain different SSR’s).
Polarity is
important here – so make sure you get the wires on the correct terminals.
(Again, please note that the washers
included with your SSR are likely to be
square, rather than the round washers
shown in the photo at right).
Once the low voltage DC wire pair is
connected to the SSR, route the wires up
and out the back of the machine as shown
below.
