ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The manufacturer and their appointed agents decline any responsibility in the case of assembly not being in
accordance with these instructions. You will require a Philips head screwdriver and adjustable wrench for
assembly purposes and you should also refer to exploded view / parts list as necessary.
Refer to steps in FIGURES 1, 2 & 3 above.
1. Remove all packing material and literature from the carton.
2. Attach the legs to the cooker frame with the screws (Screw A) supplied -
tighten the screws.
3. Insert the bolt through the spring (Figure 4), and install the set into the screw
hole at the front left of the venturi of the burner hand (See Step 2 of Figure
1,2,and 3). This bolt is used to control the air
, read “Lighting the burner” page 5
for more information
4. Insert the burners and secure with the front and rear screws (Screw A)
– do not
tighten the screws yet.
5. Attach the gas valve/s to the front of the burners by screw on the valve
(GB01LP Only) or with screws (Screw B,
you may need to shift the burners
slightly to the right position to align the screw holes
) - tighten the screws.
Then
tighten the screws for the burner heads.
PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A SIGNITIFATE AEROATION HOLES BESIDE
THE INLET OF THE BURNER HEAD/S. THIS IS NORMAL. THE HOLES ARE FOR LETTING AIR IN FOR
COMBUSTION.
6. Attach the outlet of the gas supply hose to the inlet connection at the gas manifold and tighten the connection
fully in a clockwise direction using a suitable spanner.
7. Connect the regulator end of the gas supply hose to the LPG cylinder and tighten the connection fully in a
counter-clockwise direction.

You must check for gas leaks
before use and whenever a fitting (hose or regulator) is disconnected or
reconnected, or cylinder is refilled
–
To check for gas leaks,
open the cylinder valve with the appliance gas
valves in the ‘OFF’ position and check for leakage by brushing a solution of detergent and water on to the
connection points at the bottle and the appliance. If bubbling is evident (may take up to 30 seconds to appear)
this indicates a gas leak is present. If disassembling, cleaning, reassembling and tightening the connection
does not rectify the leak you should close the gas cylinder valve and consult the place of purchase for
assistance.
WARNING: YOU MUST NEVER USE A NAKED FLAME TO TEST FOR GAS LEAKS.
GAS TYPE
These country cookers are suitable for use with propane gas (LP) only and cylinder sizes 4.5 kg or larger with a
POL fitting. Only cylinders which comply with AS2030.1 should be used. It may be hazardous to attempt to fit
other types of gas containers
PRECAUTIONS
Select a suitable position for the country cooker. It is important to ensure maximum performance, economy
and safety of operation.
Always ensure that adequate fresh air is provided for ventilation.
The country cooker must only be operated OUTDOORS and on a level firm non-combustible surface.
Spider
s’ webs can interfere with the flow of gas / air into the burner causing yellow or abnormal flame. The
opening into the burner directly in front of the gas valve should be checked and cleared with a pipe cleaner or
similar length device.
The country cooker is a portable outdoor appliance and is not designed to be installed
This cooker shall not be used in a position where it could create a fire hazard and the following minimum
clearances to combustible materials must be observed: MINIMUM CLEARANCE FROM COUNTRY COOKER
TO REAR OR SIDES OF COMBUSTIBE SURFACES MUST BE NO LESS THAN 250MM AND TO
OVERHEAD COMBUSTIBLE SURFACES NO LESS THAN 1200MM.
