Label content
Meaning
MN(XY)–B-PGND
No. of the "-48V" terminal of the distribution equipment (it can be omitted if there is
no row/column No. or it is of no need to identify the row/column No. of terminal.). It
is of no need to distinguish the row/column No for BGND and PGND.
The label content lists the location of cable source. You do not need to fill in the information
about local location. You just need to fill in the corresponding information about the peer
device, control cabinet, or junction box located at the cable side. Table 8-5 only lists the label
contents when supplying the ISCOM550-GP with two -48V power supplies, which can be a
reference for the label contents of other DC voltage (such as 24 V and 60 V).
Pay attention to the sticking direction. Put the label side outward after binding cable clip on
cable. The direction of cable label font in the same cabinet should be the same, as shown in
Figure 8-13.

DC power cable label
The meaning of labels:
A02/B06 to -48V2: indicates that the location of the sixth terminal on the -48 V ground
bar in Row B in the power distribution cabinet in Row A, Column 02 in the equipment
room.
A02 to -48V2: indicates that the power cable is -48V in the second interface of the load
cabinet in Column 02, Row A in the equipment room.
In a power distribution cabinet (or the power counter in the equipment room), there is
digital ID on each terminal on the -48V connector bar, such as in the previous
example, 06 (or identified as 8) in "A02/B06 to -48V2" is the digital ID on the terminal.
PGND and BGND are the copper strips. The connecting terminals on each copper strip are
mutually short circuited, so you do not need to distinguish them. At this time, you just need to
fill in the row/column of power distribution cabinet without the specific number of terminals
on copper strip. For example: label content on the cables at the load cabinet side is "A02-
BGND", which indicates the power cable is BGND and from the BGND copper strip in the
power distribution cabinet in Column 02, Row A in equipment room. For PGND, you can
refer to BGND.
