User Manual Q-Tee II USA / Q-Tee II C USA /

Clearance to non-combustible wall

We recommend a minimum clearance to non-combustible material of at least 2” (50
mm) so that cleaning is easy. The cleaning door of the chimney should be accessible at
all times.

Clearances may only be reduced by means approved by the regulatory authority.

Floor protection

Floor protection must be non-combustible material extending beneath the stove, and
to the front and sides from door opening and to rear as indicated.

The size of the floor protection is dependent, of installation with or without pedestal.
and is different in US compared to Canada. See User Manual pages 9 & 10 for more
information.

Thermal Floor Protection

Stove without pedestal placed on combustible material must have thermal protection
with an R = 3.19 or greater under the appliance and extending 24” in front of unit.
