INSTALLATION DISTANCE
A non-flammable panel must be fitted directly above
the convection opening so that “standing” hot air does
not develop above the convection opening. This is
done to protect the ceiling and to transport the heat
out of the fireplace insert.
The insulated part of the chimney must extend all the
way down to the flue spigot.
