Wiring and Connection to the Amplifier/ Radio
Connect the provided speaker cables to the plug-in connectors 4.8 mm (-) and 6.3 mm (+) DIN of the
loudspeaker (see below).
Run the speaker cable to the amplifier/ radio if possible
far away from the cables of the electronic
system
in order to avoid interferences. Keep the loudspeaker cables short to prevent interferences
caused by the generator or the electronic system. Twisting the speaker cables makes interferences
disappear. Do not roll up the cables as this, in turn, provokes them.
Make sure that the same polarity is guaranteed. Do not mix up (+) positive and (-) negative connections.
Otherwise the bass reproduction is eliminated.

Maintenance
The components should be cleaned at regular intervals as the conditions in motor vehicles rapidly cause
soiling and a deterioration of the material. Use a soft, moist cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any solvents
or organic detergents.
Warranty
rainbow audio GmbH
undertakes for all products a minimum 2-years warranty or the statutory warranty
period for the perfect function of all parts. The warranty begins with the acquisition of the product by the
authorized dealer, is entitled only to the direct first buyer, and is non-transferable.
The warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects, however it excludes mechanical defects,
defects caused by electrical overloading and foreign interference by unauthorized persons.
Mechanical Defects
Defects resulting from damage to the components during installation, dirt or metal shavings in the open
magnetic system, and inappropriate installation for use not corresponding to the intended range of
application.
Electrical Defects
Damage resulting from electrical and thermal overloading and/or inadmissibly high power supply, and
clipped amplifiers.
Electromechanical Defects
Damage occurring from operation of the loudspeaker system with too high volumes, inappropriate
enclosure volume, for example, trunk, etc., and the corresponding damages caused such as burned
voice coils and broken lead wires, and accidents, including acts of God, or others for which

cannot be held accountable. In particular, water and fire are not subject to
warranty. Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.
