The marker lights for the tender can be replaced following the same procedure use for the
engine.Remove the six screws that attach the tender body to the tender frame as shown in
fig. 8b.
To replace the Tender Marker LEDs:
1. Unplug the yellow connector in the rear of
the tender shell. See fig. 8b
2. Gently pull on the wires from the bottom
of the marker housings and through the rear
of the tender shell.
3. Gently thread the new LEDs through the
rear of the tender shell and into the marker
light housing.
4. Reconnect the yellow connector.
Cab Interior Light:
1. Unplug the black connector at the rear of
the boiler shell. See fig. 8a
2. Gently pull on the wires to remove the light bulb from the backhead.
3. Gently push the new light bulb into the backhead.
4. Reconnect the black connector.
Firebox Glow Lights:
1. Unplug the black connector at the rear of
the engine chassis. See fig 9.
2. Gently pull on the wires to remove the
light bulbs from the bracket.
3. Gently push the new light bulb into the
bracket.
4. Reconnect the black connector.
After replacing the light bulbs replace the
boiler shell and the 6 screws. Be careful not
to pinch any wires when placing the boiler
shell back on the chassis.
