Warning notes
Warnings relating to possible risks to the health and safety of the operator are highlighted with warning
notes accompanied by the relative hazard pictogram (see paragraph B.4.2
“Hazard pictograms that may
be present in the instructions for use
”); the text of the note is highlighted with a yellow background.
Below is an example of a warning note:
MOVING PARTS HAZARD : It is forbidden to remove or tamper with the guards.
The specific instructions / warnings for ATEX pumps are highlighted as follows (the text of the note is
highlighted with a yellow background and shows the pictogram relating to environments subject to the risk
of explosion and fire).
