Type M, N, O, and P
require 1 channel for each protected left turns (1, 3, 5, 7) and 2 channels for the
4 FYAs. The opposing left turn phases 1, 5 and 3, 7 use the Yellow and Green of the same channel for
the FYAs. The MMU2 uses 14 channels to monitor the 8 phases and 4 Peds. This leaves 2 MMU2
channels available. There is also less cabinet rewiring, because the protected phase remains in 1, 3, 5,
7.
CONF
Allows the MMU2 to be configured for PPLT with a 5 section head a PPLT with a 4 section head or
FYA with a 4 section head not defined by the sixteen types A thru P. When in the
CONF
Menus the
▲and ▼buttons move through the selections. The ◄ and ►buttons ch
anges the selection.
PPLT5
This left turn uses a five section head with a Green arrow, Yellow arrow, Green ball, Yellow
ball, and a Red ball. If this type is selected, other setting will be displayed.
PPLT4
This left turn uses a five section head with a Green arrow, Green ball, Yellow ball, and a Red
ball. If this type is selected, other setting will be displayed.
FYA
allows the selection of the channels with the protected left turn, the channel with the FYA and
driver color (yellow or green), and the opposing thru. When the selections are made and the ENTER
button is pushed the FYA CONFIGURATION Screen will be displayed

WARNING SCREENS
After pressing
ENTER
at the Left Turn Summary screen, the wizard will perform a series of configuration checks
between the data entered and the jumpers currently installed on the program card. The wizard will assume
standard phasing for a dual ring intersection while performing these checks. Press
HELP
at each warning to
receive additional information on each warning. The wizard will not tell you which permissive jumpers to install
