9. Press the new DIMM into the socket until it clicks into position.
The retaining clips move into the lock position as you press the DIMM into
position.
10. Repeat

for the second DIMM.
Caution:
Make sure that there are no leftover parts inside the Alteon
platform.
11. Replace the platform cover and secure the cover with the six cover screws.
12. Connect the power cord to the Alteon platform.
13. Turn on the Alteon platform using the front panel power button and make
sure that the Alteon platform operates correctly.
Note:
After you validate that you can turn on and operate the device,
attach the new warranty sticker from the upgrade kit on top of one of the
cover screw of the Alteon platform. Clearly mark the date of the upgrade on
the sticker. Failing to attach the new warranty sticker correctly will void the
warranty of the Alteon platform.
