Viewing System Information for Customer Support
About this task
When contacting customer support or your system administrator, you may need to provide information
about the system. This procedure describes how to view the following system information:
• Software version
• User code (MAC address)
• IP addresses
• Serial number
• System name and model
• Licenses
• Network, gatekeeper, and SIP settings
You can do this procedure from the endpoint itself or from the XT Series web interface.
You can perform this procedure with your XT Remote Control Unit as described below, or using your
keyboard and mouse (for more information, see
Using the Keyboard and Mouse to Control the Scopia
on page 24).
Important:
The system serial number also appears on the label at the back of the XT Codec Unit.
